Girlfriends

The girlfriends in the neighborhood have seen each other much less this winter than in warmer weather months when they meet out in the driveway, but there have been a few times in recent weeks that they've gotten to catch up! 

 

I was off for a 5 day stretch at the beginning of March.  We NEEDED to get out of the house after a long weekend, so we met Maria and her momma at Noodles for lunch.  I think the employees were ready to kick us out after our extended lunch and coloring extravaganza + a wild 10 month old!

 

 

 

The very next day we had a big snowstorm and the schools around us were all closed.  It was Tuesday, so we were at home and our ECFE class was cancelled as well.  Andi and Emma were nice enough to have us over for lunch, playtime, and cupcake making.  The girls made up a play and performed it for us.  It was a lot of princesses, mermaids, and monsters/beasts.

We occasionally run into the neighbors in the lobby after church, too!
