The weekend after the Fourth, we took a quick trip down to Milwaukee to visit our friends, Andy and ET. Finley was spoiled with attention all weekend long : )
Their dog, Winny, was Finley's best friend. They LOVED each other. Here they are kissing. By the time we left she could say "Winny!"
It was the last weekend of Summerfest and everyone except Finley and I ran a 10k over the Hoan bridge. It was in the upper 80's with high humidity - very uncomfortable for spectators and I'm sure for the runners.
Our lovely hosts! We had an amazing time with great food and drinks. Their house is amazingly cute and charming. I could move right into their neighborhood. We walked a few blocks into downtown Tosa for a farmer's market and for fro-yo after dinner.
A rare picture of me and my girl : ) Finley was a gem all weekend and made parenting look way to easy!!
We're already planning our return trip. I mean, we didn't even have time to make it back to Marquette's campus. Maybe for a basketball game!
