A few Friday's ago, Aunt Moosh took Fin for the whole day and overnight!! It was so great - Pat and I went to dinner, a quick stop at a 30th birthday party, and a movie and were still in bed by 11. I slept in the next morning - which I never do even if I'm able. Anyways, Saturday morning I met Moosh and Fin at Maple Grove Days. It is way a notch higher than our red-neck city festival and they usually have great kids attractions.
I'm not sure where she gets it, but Finley is our animal lover. She is always up in their faces. Scares me a little bit, but I'm glad she's outgoing about it!
She was hooting and hollering with these goats for quite a while :)
Oh yeah mom, I'm going to pet his nose!
It was crazy humid, I spent my time drinking lemonade, downing crispy taco's and stealing Moosh's all-you-can eat sweet corn platter. Finley had a pronto pup : ) (who can't wait for the state fair???)
Besides the ani-mules (as Grandpa would say), she enjoyed the mini-bounce fun house.
From earlier in the summer, At Blaine's Blazin' 4th:
Digging the pony rides, but poor ponies.
Shades and rusty carnival rides - check.
Look who's scared and who's loving it...

How dare you call Blaine's Blazin' red-neck! He-he! When is Finley going to be asking for a dog?
