Fever

We are supposed to be in Milwaukee for the weekend, but some 13 month old decided to vomit all over the car just as we left town.  Bummer!

Two weeks ago, our whole house was sick.  Cough, stuffy nose, lost voices, you know that junk.  Finley's junk ended up turning into an ear infection.  She was still all smiles despite her fever and was having a ball in the tub with her flaming red cheeks!

I was giving her the bath and Pat was cleaning up from dinner.  Finley loves to make this trumpet-like noise by blowing air through her smooshed lips, but it requires a lot of effort (see below).  It's no surprise what happened next - a big underwater toot that Pat heard from all the way downstairs.

It had us all laughing!

Once out of the bath, Finley now likes to run around with her nudey booty!  We used to have to hide the bottle from her because as soon as she would see it, she would freak out and start screaming until she could have it.  Most recently, she wanted nothing to do with it - Pat would be ready to feed her and she would run the other way laughing!  So it took me by surprise when one night I was laying out her pj's and Pat was getting something in the other room - I heard a ferocious sucking noise and turned around to see Finley (nudey) with head and the bottle tipped back like it was a bud light or something.  She proceeded to suck it down while milk dripped down her belly.  Again, we couldn't stop laughing!
