If you are bored by framed basements, skip this post. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy our basement after phase 1 (framing) and phase 2 (plumbing) have been completed. Believe it or not, these have been a popular request.
Coming down the stairs; an office nook will be at the bottom of the stairs with the desk top against the back wall.
Office nook filled with junk
From the office nook, turning L will be a storage room (below) with a working utility sink - a big deal round these parts!
From the office nook, you can also turn around 180* and face the back of the basement/family room
This is the view from the sliding glass doors looking back down the hallway with the office nook in the back and the storage room and bathroom on the left.
Larger view of the same with view of the bathroom - you walk in from the hallway and on the L is the vanity and toilet, on the R is the shower and an alcove for storage.
The wall with the plumbing on it will be a storage area for Finley's toys!
The super cool dresser I'm going to use as a vanity. It will be painted...
Shower!
Back corner of the family room gets an adequate amount of light for a basement
From corner of the family room looking to the bedroom - the TV will be hung on this wall with a console underneath
taken from the back corner of the bedroom
Opposite corner of the bedroom/Camp Morgan - it will sleep 4!
We are super excited about this SLOW process. Next up is HVAC - really exciting stuff. My mind, of course, has been dreaming up ideas for this little space of ours. I'll share those soon :)

Impressive project.... How is it working with pex? We still sweat copper for our plumbing projects- mostly because we have all of those tools and didn't want to buy new tools. Hope all is well, looking forward to more pictures as your project progresses :-)
