In July, we spent another vacation up at Grandview Lodge. The weather was gorgeous so we spent a lot of the time outside.
The girls were content to spend hours at the beach building castles and digging holes. This particular morning they had this stretch of sand all to themselves!
We took a pontoon trip one afternoon. It was enjoyable for short moments, but honestly most of the time was spent playing defense of a certain 2 year old who wanted to peer over every ledge of the boat, wiping up spilled drinks, and rounding up flying inflatables. Maybe we'll try this again in a few years!

More beach time
We did spend quite a bit of time at the indoor pool as well. Fin was big enough to do the water slide by herself this year and the girls loved wearing their goggles - ha!

We stayed in a new cabin this year which had more space for everyone, making the trip a little more enjoyable. Michelle and Bryan taught us the finer points of Sequence and Fact or Crap each night in the screened in porch. Fin won at Bingo - a cool $40 which she was so excited about. Pat and Fin also rode the giant torpedo on Gull one afternoon. They were too far out for pictures!
It was another memorable summer vacation.
