I know we're closer to Labor Day, but we had another beautiful Memorial Day weekend at the North Shore a few months back.
One bonus of sparse internet, no phone, and relative peace and quiet is that while we were in the midst of moving/house hunting, we had to drop it all for this weekend. Just what the doctor ordered, I think!
The girls spent most of the time doing what my sister and I used to spend our time doing: throwing rocks into the great lake!
Fiona was afraid of dogs at the start of the trip and best friends with Remy by the end : )
Cousins (second cousins...)!
This was the warmest Memorial weekend I can remember - perfect for cookout weather.
Seriously, this is the view out of our the cabin.
We hiked to the Baptism river in Tettegouche State Park. I think this was the last Ergo hike as well!
The river was flowing fast!
