We enjoyed a busy, but fun Christmas season this year. Having a late Thanksgiving and other events in December had us all feeling like Christmas came really quickly!
The weekend before Christmas, we ventured down to Chicago to celebrate with the Morgan family.
The girls and I had the chance to visit with one of my best friends and her family. The girls and I got to meet little Maggie (almost a year old!). The last time I visited Chicago, Maggie was only a few weeks away from being born, so it was fun to see her now!
Chicago's winter had been really mild in December with very little snow. In fact, it rained most of the weekend. I swear it hadn't rained since October up here! What to do when our December highs were in the single digits??? Get in the hot tub - that's what!
The Brady Christmas party was a hit and a lot of Pat's extended family got to meet Fiona for the first time. The general consensus seemed to be that everyone thought Finley looked a lot like Pat, until Fiona came along and she really looks like Pat!
We spent Christmas Eve at our house with my parents and our neighbors Brant, Brandy, and Quincy. Christmas morning, the girls (well Finley mostly) woke up with so much excitement to see what Santa left in front of the fireplace.
She is already for sleepovers with her new purple cat sleeping bag.
A Hello Kitty robe - she is so excited to be just like her cousins in their jammy robes : )
Her own remote control. YESSS!
More Little People
We headed to my parents for brunch, more presents, and my mom's side of the family celebration.
I'm not sure we can fit any more stockings on the mantle!
Crazed present eyes!!
Pat has never seen The Sound of Music despite my raving about it...this year might be the year as Santa jokingly filled his stocking with the DVD.
Grandpa snuggles
Finley got a cute little a-frame tent perfect for camping out in the basement.
Moosh's hamper was a great hiding spot
The only picture we got of all 4 of us. It was a great week of being with our families!
