Last weekend, I studied (boo) while Pat and Finley hit up the Eagles Nest. Finley had been once before with Grandpa, but she was almost a whole year older this time and ready to explore the non-toddler zones! I caught up with the two of them for the last half hour of fun.
She hung out in the toddler ball pit for a while because the big kid pit was like a shark tank - she almost got eaten alive! She wasn't too keen on other kids getting up in her space, but boys will be boys. She's got to learn to defend herself!

We carried her out kicking and screaming, enticing her with a treat from the vending machine because she didn't want to leave. I remembered quickly why I'm not a teacher or daycare provider - running, screaming kids on top of each other - woah, too much to handle. Pat, well remeber he's the fun parent so he had a great time : )
