The benefit of the time zone change on our way to Cali was that we gained 2 hours and got there at lunch time. Finley slept in the car on the way to my parents house, so she got to get in the hot tub right away when we arrived.
She loved this little float - and so did we because she just wants to kick her little legs when you're holding her and this way she could kick all day long :)

Soon after, the boys headed out for a round of 9 holes on the course that my parents house is on - which meant they could swing by to say hello mid-round
and I could get on the course to take some pictures
That night we went to dinner at this huge restaurant where Finley got to run around in the grass while we were waiting for our food. We had delicious peach sangria, ribs, and jalapeno mac n cheese. And it was nice to eat outside again.
There was a group of kids running around playing tag and Finley was running with them laughing and screaming!
It was hard to believe we started the day in Minnesota.
