Sweet Summer List

You know how summers usually fly by - like all of the sudden the days are getting shorter and kids are going back to school - but it seems like you didn't really enjoy it for all its worth?  Especially after a long winter, I want to make the most of the days when the weather is nice enough to get outside.  So Pat and I brainstormed a list (a super sweet one - haha) of things we want to make a part of our summer.  In completely random order, we want to:

-have a bonfire in the backyard
-grow a vegetable (ok, more than 1, maybe 1 type)
-make homemade ice cream with my kitchenaid attachment
-see fireworks
-eat dinner on our new (sort of) deck
-make pizza on the grill
-introduce Finley to her cousins
-go swimming at the new beach
-go on a family hike
-go on a boat ride
-watch Pat run a race
-go to the driving range (both of us!)
-visit Target Field
-Run a 5k (Kristin)
-Visit the zoo
-Buy something from the Minnetonka general store
-Go to the Farmer's Market
-Make Finley some pureed baby food from farmer's market veggies using the book from Grandma Morgan
-Introduce Finley to Chicago and Finley Road
-Fill a vase with only flowers from my garden
-Paint at least 1 of the 5+ pieces of furniture I have in mind
-Get a real babysitter while Pat and I go on a date
-Baptize Finley
-Build Shelves for the garage (with Greg of course)
-Make a onesie dress
-Attend an event at Church
-Buy Something for Finley at a garage sale
-Walk to the BBQ restaurant by our house for dinner
-Meet Aj's new puppy
-Go for a walk with Silas (and Angel, and Katie)
-Watch the World Cup
-Take a picture with someone from Japan
-Have a mini-highschool reunion with "the" girls
-Visit Bloomington Illinois
-Entice Katie and Lauren to come visit
-Have a picture taken of one, two, or the three of us in an open field
-Cool off in a baby pool
-Eat a cone with real ice cream in it
-Watch an irish soccer game
-See a rainbow

Should make for a sweet summer!
