Church

About a month ago, we joined Faith Lutheran Church.  We had been attending services for about a year and a half, and wanted to join a few times before this, but it seemed like something (my pregnancy) always got in the way.  Our new member "class" was 4 hours on a Saturday and Finley was in the nursery for all of it.  Go figure, she slept the whole time :)  We joked with the pastors that we were going to be coming to church all the time if they could get her to sleep like that!  We're pretty excited to get involved, get to know some of the families we met at our class, and bring Finley up in a church.  From the start we felt pretty much at home - a lot of young families came to church, the services were pretty informal, and everyone was very welcoming.

A few weeks after we joined the church, we attended a baptism class.  We saw a few of the families from our new member class, which was fun.  Finley is set to be baptized June 27th.  We're excited to introduce her to the congregation and to have our families present for it.
