On September 15th, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary!  We cannot believe how fast these years went.  Crazy!  Hopefully we'll be in an exotic location for 10 years, but with a new baby we stayed local this year.  Grandma and Grandpa Morgan were sweet enough to come up for the weekend to stay with the girls.  We are so blessed!

Our first stop was checking in at the Hilton.  From there we road the Nice Ride bikes over to Target field for a Twins/White Sox game.  The weather was perfect and we ate until it was uncomfortable to sit.

From there we walked to Nicollet Mall to pick out new boots for me at Macy's and some new clothes at Banana Republic and Gap.  It felt kinda like the old days when we'd hit up the mall in Naperville with no kids in tow!

We headed back to the hotel room for some college football and a NAP!!  Heaven and definitely something that we don't get to do very often - or at least not at the same time, uninterrupted.

Then, we got ready for a night out downtown.

First stop was Prohibition - a swanky cocktail lounge at the W Hotel/top of the Foshay Tower.

My jalapeno infused margarita was somewhere near $15 and we both realized in the neon magenta glow that we were too old for this and pretty glad our Saturday nights aren't spent at bars.  Cheers to marriage!  It was a fun experience, though.

For dinner, we hit up Manny's steakhouse and basically sold our souls for dinner, but man it was the best steak I've ever had.  We finished the night with desserts as big as our heads.

We had a great night, but couldn't wait to get back home the next morning to celebrate brunch with our girls!
