One Month

This little bug is one month old - fastest month ever!

She is growing (I think, no official weight until 2 months), is now out of her newborn clothes, and is getting a little chub in her belly!

She is very content 95% of the time.  I cannot believe how much she sleeps.  I know it will not always be like this, so I am taking full advantage.  Some days cleaning and organizing, some days napping away with her!  She had her first 8 hour stretch of sleep last night - from 9:45 to 5:45am.  Yay!

The biggest difference between her and Finley is her ease at falling back alseep after a nightime feedings.  This is such a relief.

Typically Fiona will sleep 5-6 hours in a stretch at night and naps a lot during the day.  One day this weekend she was literally only awake to eat and slept for probably 21 hours.  Crazy!

When she is awake, she is starting to smile, make more eye contact, and I've even caught her cooing today.

She is a good eater, too.  She has taken a bottle and does so now with little trouble and she's also had formula.  We are prepping for an out of town wedding this weekend when both girls will be staying with their aunts Nini and Erin, so she had to try both.

Fiona is fussy from about 6-9pm or 7-10pm most nights and would prefer to eat a lot during this time, so we occasionally supplement with a bottle just to give me a break.

Fiona seems to like the car - or at least doesn't scream when we're in it.

Her eyes are blue and no hair has fallen out yet.  She did have an acne outbreak that is slowly improving.

She sleeps in our room in a rock 'n play sleeper (the greatest invention since we had Finley).  I'm in no rush to move her into her crib this time around...maybe by 6 or 8 weeks when we are attempting to get her on a more rigid sleep schedule.

I am actually loving the infant stage this time around - we're more relaxed, she's a relatively easy baby, and time is flying by.

We can't imagine life without Fi-Fi (this is what Finley loves to call her!)

Tooooo cute, glad it's going so well, can't wait to catch up! Henry calls Finley "Fi-Fi" at our house, and he calls Fiona "baby Fi-Fi".
