State Fair 2011

Let's pretend the blog hasn't been quiet for a month...

At the end of the summer, we attended the Great Minnesota Get-Together!  The state fair had some great activities for Finley.  The next few pictures are from the Little Farm Hands exhibit where Fin got to pretend she was a farmer.  She loved it :)

We did get a pail of pups - of course and finished them all!

And of course the miracle of birth building was a hit.  She got to pet a 3 day old lamb and a piglet!

We visited the dairy barn later in the afternoon and got a big glass of cold chocolate milk for Finley.  Not long after, she accidentally kicked my hand which was holding the milk and it spilled all over her (in the stroller).  The milk was pooled underneath her.  She, of course, freaked out and so did I.  I didn't have another change of clothes or anything, so she finished out the fair in a diaper and chocolate covered shirt.  We left promptly after!
