We had a full Christmas this year - soaking up all of the festivities with Finley! Here is our holiday in a LOT of pictures:
The weekend before we attended our annual Christmas brunch at North Oaks. The carolers are somewhat annoying singing right next to the table when we're trying eat, but this year Finley was entertained.
She sat at the table like a big girl for about 50% of the meal, banging spoons and tossing her mouse and eating scrambled eggs, while the other half she wanted to climb around with Grandma out in the lounge. I loved her Christmas dress, but alas it caused a huge rash and so this was its only appearance.
Opening Duplo's from Julie (daycare provider)
We went to a 3:00 service and corralling Finley for 50 mins was exhausting. Pat stepped out with her briefly after I (stupidly) tried to take away a large plastic cup she was waving around. Fin and Pat did make it up for Charlie the Church Mouse's kids sermon - Finley still holding the cup from Zorbaz with the quote "kick some azz-phault" on it. Awesome.
We hosted Christmas Eve this year so Finley could maintain her bedtime.
The famous cup.
Playing with a toy from Great Aunt Kari - a santa that pops out of a chimney and says "Ho Ho Ho", which Finley could say after repeating it about 100 times!
She wasn't super keen on tearing open the paper like we assumed she would be. Oh well!

My dad always read my sister and I The Night Before Christmas every year, and this year he also got to read to Finley before she went to bed.
Early Christmas morning we opened our little family presents. Finley got a chatterbox telephone and a whale spout for the tub.
After nap, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Zenz's house to open presents with the rest of our immediate family. Here's Finley with the chatterbox telephone - I am a sucker for reproduction Fisher-Price.
Grandma Morgan gave Finley this super cute bear suit. I just wanted to smooch Fin's face all morning.
Aunt Moosh gave Fin a sled. Favorite picture #2.
Climbing on Grandpa is a favorite sport.
Aunt Moosh also got her this elephant blanket, whose trunk Finley loves to chew on.
Grandma and Grandpa Zenz gave her this standing activity center :)
Wishing this was a real nap...
That afternoon, my mom's side of the family came over for dinner. Here's Finley with cousin Jill. It should be noted that Finley fought off a low grade fever for most of Christmas and so partied the afternoon away with no pants on.
