Painted Bench

Plain pine bench - I've wanted to paint this for about 2 years...

inspiration struck the other day at Lowes - I bought a sample of a shade of green and then sanded quickly and painted it with 1 coat while holding Finley part of the time :)  I wanted the wood grain to show through and I knew I was going to rough it up a little bit at the end

I'm in lust with the new bench.

It almost makes me forget that I don't have an actual mud room...just a long hallway with a pretty bench!

*and it was still summer when I painted this!
