We transitioned to being full time parents by doing a lot of snuggling (Dad's chest is her favorite), snoozing (Finley more than Mom or Dad), and falling in love with her sweet face.
Grandma Joanne also got to meet Finley for the 1st time. My mom was sick with the flu and couldn't come to the hospital, so it was special when they finally got to meet.
Nights have been the hardest to get used to. Finley is in a bassinet in our room and is slowly adjusting to her new sleeping arrangements, but mom and dad are having a much harder time adjusting to her schedule (or lack there of). Nobody can prepare you for such little sleep, but when you see this face looking up at you at 3am, somehow it doesn't matter that you're tired.
